Civil Designer / Drafter

McIntosh & Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Designer / Drafter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, particularly in land development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles. While a Civil Engineering license is preferred, it is not required.

What you'll do :

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop detailed design plans for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create accurate and efficient site plans, grading plans, sewer plans, storm drain plans, and other related drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with local and state regulations, as well as company standards.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from project managers and agencies.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices.
