Electrical Engineer – Tyndall AFB

Location : Panama City, FL

Salary : Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in interview.

Base pay range : $120,000.00 / hr - $135,000.00 / hr

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a federal background review and drug screen.
  • Current Professional Engineer license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as electrical engineer on large complex multimillion-dollar federal construction projects; Department of Defense experience preferred.
  • Experience with Resident Management System (RMS) preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working at federal facilities including buildings, airfield facilities, and electrical power stations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional electrical engineering and construction management support by performing tasks such as : serving as the organizational subject matter expert on standards and practices for electrical engineering designs, system components, installations, and system construction, including primary power generation and distribution infrastructure, commercial and industrial electrical systems, and residential electrical systems.
  • Participate in design reviews of and provide comments on contractor submittals on electrical designs and plans.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight, documentation of such oversight, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform on-site inspections of contractor's work.
  • Provide safety oversight, documentation of such oversight, and direct corrective actions.
  • Assist in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor electrical requirements and deliverables.
  • Document and provide reports regarding contractor progress toward accomplishing contractual scopes of work and recommend authorization of progress payments.
