  • This position will float between our Southaven, MS and Germantown, TN locations.\n
  • A weekly schedule will be provided in advance.\n
  • Travel between assigned clinics may be required. Mileage or expenses for travel outside your primary location(s) will be reimbursed per company policy.\n\nTasks and Responsibilities : \n
  • Execute on the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.\n
  • Develop a care plan in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary – including discharge planning process.\n
  • Communicate changes in patient's clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor / Manager, and teammates.\n
  • Performs a basic assessment of patients, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.\n
  • Records vital signs.\n
  • Identifies abnormal diagnostic data and shows a fundamental understanding of its implications by reporting information to the physician and others caring for the patient and incorporating information in the nursing care plan.\n
  • Reviews and develops care plans for assigned patients.\n
  • Includes the patient and his or her family in planning care, establishing priorities, and setting goals.\n
  • Uses care plans as a basis for providing safe and therapeutic care to patients.\n
  • Accepts accountability for clinical care of assigned patients.\n
  • Supports nursing care standards through adherence to existing policies and procedures.\n\nEducation and Experience : \n
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Tennessee / Mississippi.\n
  • BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.\n
  • We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.\n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate care plans to patients and teammates and to chart information into Electronic Health Records.\n\nAbout the Practice : \n\nMidSouth Pain Treatment Center (MPTC) was founded in 2000, with the goal of addressing the lack of treatment options for pain-related medical issues in rural areas.
