Program Operations Coordinator

Position may office in Denison, Council Bluffs or Harlan, IA.

West Central Community Action's Head Start Program is currently seeking a Program Operations Coordinator.

The Program Operations Coordinator will provide operational support in the areas of licensing, supplemental grants, fiscal and facility management for the Head Start Program. This position will be responsible for the oversight of all WCCA Head Start / Early Head Start classrooms, offices and their surrounding campuses.

This position is Full-Time, 40 hours per week, year-round.

Duties include providing operations support for scheduling or providing routine and emergency maintenance and repairs to agency facilities, grounds, and vehicles. Coordinate compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, State of IA DHHS, Iowa State Fire Marshal Codes.

The Program Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for gathering bids and managing contractors for Head Start projects or repairs. An agency vehicle will be provided.

HS Diploma / G.E.D - Required for position

Two-year program or Bachelor's completion - Preferred, but not required.

Minimum of two years experience with construction or maintenance work.

Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds constantly.
