Security Officer - Unarmed Aerospace Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Aerospace Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel. Pay Rate : $21.31 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AMSun04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and report any irregularities or breaches in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Document and communicate observations and / or incidents to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist in evacuations or drills as directed by site leadership.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
