Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring IR / cath lab and critical care experience as well as BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the diagnostic radiology department within a hospital setting

Interventional Radiology and cath lab procedures are performed

Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts from 07 : 00 to 15 : 30

Position includes on-call responsibility 2-3 times per week and rotating weekend call for emergency cases

13-week travel assignment

Provide nursing care for patients during IR and cath lab procedures

Expected to respond to emergency cases during on-call shifts including nights and weekends

May be required to assist in related critical care procedures as needed

Requirements

Active RN license

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or cath lab

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Experience with basic critical care nursing such as in the ER or ICU

Completion of DCI / BVP certification (can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC)
