Job Summary :

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides appropriate services to assist consumers by ensuring their safety and physical, social, health, emotional, economic, and training needs are met.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Must be physically able to assist consumers and to utilize the approved verbal and physical interventions if necessary to handle aggressive behaviors. Prefer to have his / her own communication device to communicate regularly with supervisor.
