Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Contract Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nursing Location : Sanford, NC 27330 (Central North Carolina, near Raleigh & Durham) Healthcare Setting : Surgery / Operating Room (OR) – Acute Care Hospital Contract Type : 13-week Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Shift : 8 Hour Days (6 : 45 AM – 3 : 15 PM) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Weekend / Call : Every other weekend; up to 15 call shifts / month Scrubs : Provided Weekly Estimated Pay : $1930–$2070 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Previous travel nursing experience in the Main OR preferred Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, CPI / HWC / MAB (must be obtained prior to start) Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Strong adaptability, teamwork, and clinical skills OR RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients of all ages Assist surgeons and surgical teams in a sterile environment Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and ensure patient safety Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled Accurately document patient care using Cerner EHR Float to other units to support overall patient care as needed Sanford, NC is an ideal location for travel nurses, offering a welcoming community, excellent amenities, and beautiful surroundings.
