Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-semester contract position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students emotional, social, and academic development through expert psychological services in an educational setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to address behavioral and mental health concerns
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal and ethical guidelines

Qualifications :

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license appropriate for the state of Michigan
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in a school environment
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively

    Job Duration : Full Semester Contract
