Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist for a 13-week rehabilitation therapy assignment with a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and home health caseloads.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a rehabilitation therapy setting serving both outpatient (60-70%) and inpatient, swing bed, and home health patients (30-40%)
  • Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm schedule
  • Caseload may include hand therapy
  • No scheduled weekend shifts
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and work closely with other healthcare professionals
  • May serve a diverse patient population including outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and home health cases
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be an effective team member are essential

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active state Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s degree preferred
  • National certification as an Occupational Therapist required
  • Current BLS or BCLS certification required
  • CPR certification required
  • Experience with hand therapy preferred but not mandatory
  • Possesses computer knowledge and skills
  • Spanish language skills a plus
