Client's contract Corporate Paralegal will work with a highly-valued legal team and report to the Senior Director, Legal Operations. This position is fast-paced and interacts with every level of the company. You will be responsible for maintaining governance and compliance for Client subsidiary legal entities worldwide as well as supporting legal operations projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Maintain and support international and domestic legal entity governance and compliance to include formation documents, board and shareholder meetings, unanimous written consents, secretary certificates, minute books, local government filings, liaison cross-functionally and with outside counsel, and oversee other entity compliance matters.
Coordinate signatures, notarizations, authentications, and legalizations on a variety of documents ranging from straightforward to highly complex and specialized.
Compile and maintain electronic and physical records of documentation required for legal matters and projects.
Contribute to corporate public company compliance initiatives, assist with quarterly and annual reporting, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing.
Act as an E-Billing systems coordinator to include setting up new matters and firms, invoice review, guidelines enforcement / compliance, tool administration, analysis and reporting, professional service provider interaction, and researching and resolving billing inquiries as they occur.
Partner on legal operations projects and strategy execution to drive efficiency and productivity within the department.
Assist where needed in other aspects of the Legal Team.

Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to handle, prioritize, and follow through on numerous projects simultaneously; strong project management and execution skills.
This position will initially be 100% remote work which will require the contractor to have a stable, reliable internet connection and access to a phone for business / Zoom calls. Work in the office will begin in early 2022 and likely be in a hybrid capacity (working part remotely and part in the office each week).
