Base pay range

$25.00 / hr - $35.00 / hr

Job Details

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PC-DMIS CMM Programmer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our growth and success while enhancing your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CMM Programming and the ability to collaborate effectively with our production team to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining CMM programs using PC-DMIS software to support inspection and manufacturing processes.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data, and GD&T to create accurate and efficient CMM programs.
  • Performing first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborating closely with the manufacturing and quality teams to identify and resolve potential issues in product quality or production efficiency.
  • Training and guiding operators and inspectors on the use of CMM equipment and software.
  • Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste and inputting data into quality database.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our processes and products.

    • Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMM Programmer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in CMM Programming and in using PC-DMIS software is a must.
  • Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mind and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology, would be an advantage.
