IDD Crisis - Crisis Service Worker

Position Overview :

The Crisis Service Workers is a vital role, you will provide immediate support to adults experiencing behavioral health crises in a community setting-helping stabilize individuals and connect them to the services they need. This is a 24 / 7, 365-days-a-year service that makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Location / Schedule :

179 Hidden Hills Road, Milledgeville, GA - Monday - Friday- 11pm-7am and Every Other Weekends, and various part-time shifts and every other weekends.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor client behavior, report progress, and intervene in crisis situations using approved Mindset de-escalation techniques.
Provide individualized support and guidance to clients based on assessed needs.
Document all interactions and services provided in client / unit records promptly and accurately.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Must pass a background check and drug screening.
