Surgical Technologist (CST) - OR General Surgery

Location Detail : 100 Grand Street New Britain (10126)

Shift Detail : Looking for an experienced CST 7p-7 : 30a Wed, Thurs, Fri one week then Sun, Mon, Tues the next to provide 7 days off between weeks. Self scheduled back up call and 1 major / 1 minor holiday required.

Job Description :

Surgical Technologist will facilitate the surgical care maintaining an aseptic environment. S / He will insures that all required instrumentation, supplies and equipment are readily available. In addition will assists with room turnover between schedule cases.

Qualifications

Education Requirements :

High school diploma or GED required

Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program

Minimum Requirements :

CST certification

Critical thinking skills

Must be able to work in stressful environment

Preferred Qualifications :

1 year of surgical tech or OR work experience

Previous surgical technologist experience preferred

Manual dexterity
