We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Monessen, Pennsylvania on a contract to hire basis. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

• Verify invoice pricing against quotations and ensure all items have been received accurately.
• Reconcile invoices based on time and material against corresponding work orders.
• Enter accounts payable invoices and credits into QuickBooks, applying the correct general ledger codes.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, mailing, ordering supplies, and running small errands.
• Match vendor invoices with issued checks and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain and update tracking information on spreadsheets.
• Complete credit applications and tax exemption forms as required.
• Generate and review weekly accounts payable aging reports to confirm accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies in vendor statements and invoices through direct communication.
• Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
