Direct Supply Management Intern

MillerKnoll Summer Internship Program is a paid opportunity that allows you to gain real-world experience and cultivate your professional skills. Besides the work you'll do within your field of study, you'll participate in one-on-one meetings with mentors, a summer-long project, learning sessions with senior leaders, and much more.

About this Opportunity :

MillerKnoll's Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As a Direct Supply Management Intern, you will focus on the management of suppliers producing finished good products for MillerKnoll. This will include leading projects to improve On-Time Performance, Quality and / or Costs.

What You'll Do :

  • Attain on-the-job work experience that is aligned with career objectives.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teamwork to complete assigned projects.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives.

What You Bring :

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Influences decisions and drives alignment across teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Thrives both independently and in collaborative environments
  • Basic knowledge of supplier relationship management (quality, delivery, cost, performance).
  • Knowledge of business analytics / BI / emergence of AI
  • Knowledge of cost and negotiations.

    • Education :

  • Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts upon request.
  • You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.

    • Qualifications :

  • Must be authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
