About the Role :

As a Tax Manager , you will be a key leader within a public accounting firm, overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse client base. You will manage and mentor tax professionals, review complex tax filings, and provide strategic guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Tax Compliance & Review : Oversee the preparation and review of complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Client Advisory : Serve as a trusted advisor, providing tax planning and consulting services to help clients optimize their tax positions.
• Leadership & Team Development : Supervise and mentor tax associates and senior staff, review their work, provide coaching, and foster professional growth.
• Regulatory Updates : Stay informed on changing tax laws and advise clients and firm leadership on their potential impacts.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement tax process efficiencies, improving accuracy and turnaround times.
• Audit Support : Assist clients with tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Business Development : Help build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional service offerings.
