Litigation Associate Attorney (Class Action) – San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, or Palo Alto

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join a top-tier global firm’s Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions practice group.

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact class action defense matters—including securities, data privacy, and consumer litigation—alongside some of the most experienced trial lawyers in the country. About the Role :

The associate will manage complex class action cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have experience running large-scale discovery, drafting persuasive motions, and coordinating strategy across multiple matters and jurisdictions.

What You’ll Bring :

At least 4 years of litigation experience, ideally from an Am Law 100 firm

Experience defending class actions in areas such as securities, privacy, or consumer protection

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Prior federal clerkship experience preferred

Excellent communication and project management abilities

Admitted to practice in California or New York (depending on office location)

Compensation & Benefits :

Salary range : $310,000 – $390,000, depending on experience and market
