What You'll Be Doing
Lead public sector business development, focusing on government bids and cooperative contractsIdentify bid opportunities, develop specifications, and manage the full RFP and contract processBuild strong relationships with state and local officials, purchasing agents, engineers, and consultants involved in public transit and accessibility initiativesDeliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations that highlight performance, compliance, and lifecycle valueCollaborate with internal teams to ensure quotes and proposals meet project requirements and profitability goalsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging funding programs within transportation and accessibility sectorsTrack sales pipeline activity, prepare forecasts, and report results against goalsAbout You
Proven success in public sector or government sales - you know your way around RFPs, procurement rules, and bid portalsSkilled communicator who can make complex technical details easy to understandConfident presenting to groups and building relationships with public officials, engineers, and project stakeholdersOrganized and proactive, able to juggle multiple bids and deadlines without losing momentumComfortable with travel (around 50%) and energized by in-person relationship buildingHow to Apply
