Job Summary

The Structural Project Engineer will assist teams with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. The Project Engineer acts as the link between office management, field activities, accounting, and project administration. Responsibilities include pre-construction, estimating, material sourcing, procurement, managing submittal processes, coordinating timely delivery of materials, maintaining logs, schedules, budgets, and ensuring project safety and coordination of materials.

Must be a flexible, adaptable team player with strong communication, task management, and client service skills.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Review concrete and steel drawings for compliance with standards and codes.
• Propose design modifications as needed.
• Coordinate design with construction teams.
• Perform field inspections for quality assurance.
• Participate in procurement processes, including outreach and bid management.
• Attend and document OAC meetings.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules.
• Support permit processes.
• Manage document control for plans, drawings, and permits.
• Follow safety policies and wear proper safety equipment.
