Overview

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Loads & Criteria Senior Engineer for the F-35 Program in Fort Worth, Texas. A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in airframe loads analysis and criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet tracking and service loads analysis, spectra development.
  • Develop quarterly Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) reports.
  • Analysis for predicting loads for ground test and flight test, model correlation, evaluation of flight test data, efforts to provide store certification.
  • Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and JPO customers.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical
  • Experience with external loads, static and dynamic; strength and service

    • Desired Skills

  • Ability to travel
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with F-35 ground / flight test
  • Familiarity with the F-35 Air Vehicle
  • Experience with MATLAB, Perl, or Python

    • Security Clearance Statement

    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  • Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
