Interventional Radiology Coordinator

A company is looking for an Interventional Radiology Clinic Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Organizes and monitors daily work to ensure accurate chart preparation and insurance authorization

Contacts patients to schedule procedures and verify demographic and insurance information

Prepares patient charts including necessary pre-procedure documentation and coordinates with healthcare providers

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred; medical assistant or clinical education highly preferred

Experience in a clinical setting, such as a medical practice, is required

Basic knowledge of health insurance and prior authorization processes preferred

Familiarity with ICD 10 guidelines and CPT procedure codes

Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry experience required
