This facility is a large academic medical center providing comprehensive surgical services including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT. As a Level 1 trauma center, the facility offers cutting-edge medical technology and a collaborative healthcare environment.

Opportunity :

Certified - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details :

• Provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, robotics, gynecology, and ENT
• Shift hours : 8-hour shifts (6 : 30-3pm) or 10-hour shifts (6 : 30-5pm), with possible 12-hour shifts (6 : 30am-7pm)
• Must have at least 1 year experience by time of credentialing completion
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
• Develop and implement anesthetic plans and obtain informed consent
• Perform general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients
• Administer spinal anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
• Manage airways and place invasive monitoring (CVP / CVC, intra-arterial lines)
• Work in a medical direction model with 2 : 1 or 3 : 1 anesthesiologist to CRNA ratio
• Handle complex cases including neurosurgical (head / spine), thoracic, and complex orthopedic procedures
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• PA license required (IMLC not accepted)
• Credentialing timeframe : 60-90 days
• DEA license not required for CRNAs in PA

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
