Be the difference.\n\nJob Summary\nRepresents Prisma Health and its workers with provision of direct and indirect nursing care to employees of client companies served by Employer Health Services. Works under policies, procedures, and medical directives approved by the Employer Health Services Medical Director but is independent in the application of nursing knowledge and skills onsite at client company location(s).\n\nBonus\n\nThis position is bonus eligible, follow this for details?.\n\nSchedule : Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM.\n\nEssential Functions\n

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values : Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.\n
  • Triage injured / exposed employees, administer basic first aid, prepares for MD / NP evaluation, and provides case management of injured / exposed employees per client company request / needs.\n
  • Performs health assessment, documents, reviews findings, evaluates screening results, refers as indicated and conducts appropriate follow-up for both work related and non-work-related conditions.\n
  • Participates in client company's substance abuse testing program by collecting and processing specimens, monitoring results receipt, and reporting results to appropriate personnel as indicated per policy / procedure.\n
  • Draws labs and performs occupational health testing as required by regulatory agencies for client company employees (audiograms, vision screening, pulmonary function testing and related tests).\n
  • Responds to client company representative on relevant employee health matter.\n
  • Maintains inventory of appropriate supplies and educational material at onsite clinic.\n
  • Maintains accurate and timely state and federal mandated records including DHEC, OSHA, TJC, NRC as assigned by client company.\n
  • Supports onsite clinic function by participating in programs supported in conjunction with client company safety and employee health and wellness programs.\n
  • Supports clinic function by participating in and implementing Employer Health Services policy development and operational improvement.\n
  • Assists with clinical duties as assigned at various Employer Health Services locations and provides back up nursing support for workers comp and occupational health testing related duties as needed.\n
  • Performs other duties as assigned.\n\nSupervisory / Management Responsibilities\n
  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
  • Education - Associate degree in Nursing\n
  • Experience - Three (3) years nursing experience or two (2) years in Occupational Medicine nursing. Physical assessment background in urgent or emergency care preferred.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n

  • Current CPR / BLS certification\n
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing preferred\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\n
