Knowledge of chilled water systems, pneumatic tube stations, computerized maintenance systems, HVAC, and general plumbing. Knowledge of fire alarms, life safety systems and inspections of fire alarm devices. Knowledge of emergency generators and related equipment. Driver's License upon hire required. Other healthcare maintenance certifications upon hire preferred. Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams. Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
Overview
Maintenance Specialist I – 2nd shift at Texas Health Resources. Location : 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132. Work hours : Monday – Friday; 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM with on call rotation. This position will provide coverage for the Clearfork facility.
What You Will Do
- Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital facilities, equipment, and properties using the computerized maintenance management system.
- Perform duties of skilled trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.
- Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.
- Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
