Logistics Supervisor

US Trades is hiring an experienced On-Site Logistics Supervisor to lead and manage the site logistics team, including forklift operators and material handlers, during a conveyor system installation project. This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager and serve as the main liaison between the logistics team and the site operations team. The Supervisor will oversee all material movement, ensure timely delivery to installation crews, and maintain accurate inventory and tracking systems.

Responsibilities :

Supervise forklift operators and other logistics personnel on-site

Ensure safe operation of all material handling equipment in accordance with site standards

Coordinate daily logistics needs with the Site Team to ensure timely delivery of tools, parts, and materials

Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory logs and material usage reports

Monitor and enforce proper staging, organization, and tracking of received deliveries

Report inventory needs, shortages, and discrepancies to the Logistics Manager

Assign tasks and prioritize workload for logistics team members

Enforce site safety rules and logistics procedures for all team members

Support the receiving, unloading, and inspection of deliveries

Participate in daily site meetings and provide updates on logistics progress and material availability

Requirements :

3+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse / material handling supervision

Prior experience supervising forklift operators or warehouse personnel

Familiarity with industrial or construction project environments

Proficiency with basic inventory systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools

Forklift certification is preferred

Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods and conduct physical jobsite walks
