Reports To : Manager Production Engineering Dept : Prod. Engineering Job Description :
- Provides assistance to the Production Engineering Manager for all aspects of planning functions.
- Researches and analyzes production specifications and plant capacity to determine manufacturing processes.
- Plans, prepares, and issues parts and material schedules that anticipates and coordinates with production sequences.
- Coordinate site production / modification activities at customer site, attend customer / company meetings, review and implement modification procedure, prepare tools and fixtures and production aids, identify and propose changes to processes and procedure.

Researches, plans and schedules manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and production aids based on requirements of production sequences.Conduct design reviews, create work breakdown / BOM, develop work procedures for production line, and train production personnel on work procedures / process methods and safety requirements.Perform cost estimate, time study and apply Kaizen to improve production processes.Reviews planning weekly status of project percent completion.Conducts reviews and recommends improvements to efficiency of manufacturing operations, including maintenance of issued schedules, utilization of manpower, and operations that delay schedules or decrease operating efficiency.Create and maintain internal operating procedures for ISO-9002 compliance.Job Specification : ![</b></p><li>]()
Must have at minimum, five (5) year's experience in plant engineering or production planning.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) is required.

Must have direct work experience with production processes, scheduling and shipping logistics, and facility equipment including machinery, overhead cranes, jigs, fixtures, rigging, and production aids.

Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills. This position requires direct exposure to work conditions on factory shop floor and at customer site locations.
Must be able to travel to customer site locations for site production support.
