POSITION SUMMARY :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance duties to ensure the optimal functioning of our facility, equipment, and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Must have knowledge of and experience in maintenance or a maintenance-related field.Must be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and receptive to complete the task at hand.Must be in good physical condition to accomplish tasks / jobs such as climbing ladders and working on rooftops.A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED.REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Proficient in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and motor controls.Knowledge of plumbing systems and pipefitting.Ability to read and interpret technical documents.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The employee must be in good physical condition to accomplish projects & job demands. The employee must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Various working conditions, including weather-related, office environment, and home environments involving HUD apartments.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and premises to identify and resolve potential problems.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Manage work orders through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Participate in on-call rotation as neededAssist with other maintenance-related urgent and non-urgent tasks when neededMon-Fri 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM +On Call
