OB / GYN Hospitalist Medical Director - Salisbury, MD

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OB / Gyn physician to lead a new hospitalist program as Medical Director. This leadership role will oversee a dedicated team of OB / Gyn hospitalists providing inpatient women s healthcare, including labor and delivery management, unassigned patient coverage, and general OB / Gyn services. You will play a critical role in establishing clinical standards, fostering a collaborative team culture, and advancing maternal health outcomes within the community.

Position Highlights

  • Lead a team of five OB / Gyn physicians in a newly launched hospitalist program
  • Enjoy 24-hour in-house shifts with flexible scheduling
  • 6 8 shifts per month
  • Influence quality of care and set clinical standards within the department
  • Receive support from experienced clinical and operational leadership
  • Participate in clinical drills and simulations
  • Level III NICU and strong community OB / Gyn backup
