Salary / Hourly Rate : $35 / hr - $40 / hr

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Freelance Dress Designer to join the in-office team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical skill, and industry knowledge to the design process, developing compelling dress concepts from idea to execution. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in women's dresses who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic design environment.

Responsibilities Of The Freelance Dress Designer

• Create original dress designs aligned with brand direction and seasonal concepts.
• Develop detailed sketches and technical design packages using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Collaborate with patternmakers, technical designers, and production teams to ensure accurate translation of designs.
• Research trends, fabrics, and trims to incorporate innovative details into collections.
• Present design ideas and support cross-functional meetings throughout the design cycle.
• Assist in managing sample development and fit sessions as needed.
