While our loan officer is out in the field driving in more loan business to fill the pipeline, you’ll be analyzing customer credit, reviewing income, and assessing documents to ensure an efficient and successful close.

Compensation : $70,000
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate loan application completions, collect all necessary documents (including credit reports), run DU / LP / AUS, send a closing cost worksheet to borrowers, and get the file ready for processing
- Build and maintain relationships with borrowers and referral partners to keep our current customers and attract new ones
- Coordinate discussions between the loan officer, referral partners, and clients so they have a clear primary contact throughout the “contact to contract” phase of the loan process, and arrange meetings to ensure any follow-up actions get taken
- Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions and provide quotes as needed to offer superior customer service
- Look over all loan package paperwork to check for inconsistencies, omissions, and inaccurate income calculations and then report any errors to the loan originator
The Loan Partner II (“LP2”) is responsible for accurately setting up new purchase applications, issuing pre-approval letters, and overseeing the success of every loan from contract to close.
The LP2 will work cohesively with the Borrower(s), the team LP1 (if any), the Loan Processors and Underwriter, and any Third Parties to close 95% of all loans on time while providing an outstanding experience from application to close.
This position requires time and self-management, precise verbal and written communication skills, and a working knowledge of all major investors’ guidelines. The analysis of cash, credit, and income is vital for this position.

Contact all newly received applications within 24 hours of being assigned by the LOFully review 1003 with the Borrower(s) and request any other specific documents for reviewAll efforts and avenues must be exhausted before turning down a pre-approval requestContinue to update the respective Realtor partner on your progress (when needed)Understand and research all investor guidelines and stay up to date on all program changesEffectively communicate all the pre-approval parameters established to the Borrower(s)Supplement the pre-approval letter with any pertinent documents (i.e., Pre-Approval Addendum, completed All About You form, etc.)Provide a courtesy phone call to the referring Realtor within 24 hours of issuance. Ensure the Realtor partner fully understands any important details of the pre-approvalRush any pre-approval requests when neededCommunicate any red flags or major potential issues to the LO or Team Captain (if applicable) and Realtor partnerPerform a one-hour weekly time-blocked pre-approval power hour accordinglyExpeditiously onboard any newly received contracts and prepare for the LO consultation callComplete a “daily gauge check” each morning during a “pre-work ritual” to determine any potential "choke points."Attend a weekly branch pipeline meeting to ensure all the required time-to-task objectives are being metPerform outstanding Tuesday Update phone calls to all borrowersCommunicate internally with the processing team to fully understand all required conditions before contacting any borrower(s) and third partiesProactively contact the borrower(s), and the borrower(s)' Attorney and Real Estate Agent, 24 hours in advance of any mortgage contingency expirations, to request a necessary extension (we fail if we are contacted first)Review all Closing Disclosures and compare them to the original loan estimates for accuracyPerform a meticulous pre-closing phone call 48 hours before the closing date (if applicable)Perform a congratulatory funding phone call on all loans (purchase and refinance) to the borrower(s) and to both Real Estate Agents on all purchase loans (if applicable)Answer any post-closing and / or funding questionsBe available after normal business hours in case of questions (email on a mobile device)Consistently exceed all borrower(s) and third party(s) expectationsSmile on every call and sustain a high level of professionalism in speech and email (no slang, curt / cold emails, etc.)Act as a “concierge” between the borrower(s) and business partners on available programs / scenariosQualifications :
At least 2 years of previous experience fulfilling the roles of an LOA / Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer and / or Underwriter, 5+ years preferredWorking knowledge of automated underwriting systems such as DU and LPStrong understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA / VA / CONV / USDA) and knowledge of mortgage documentation, processes, and proceduresSuperb follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and communication skillsMust maintain active Texas NMLS license (annually renewed at employee's expense) - must be actively licensed to be considered for this role, no exceptions!
Additional Qualifications :
