Position Overview :

As a Cook at Highlight Healthcare, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences. You will work closely with our Food Services team to ensure that all meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and with the utmost attention to taste, quality, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook meals according to the established menu and dietary needs of residents.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to coordinate meal preparation and service.
• Ensure meals are presented attractively and meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and report any shortages to the Food Services Manager.
• Assist with meal planning and recipe development when necessary.
• Properly store and label all food items to prevent waste and contamination.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with all local health department regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff, addressing special dietary needs or requests as required.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
