About the Role

Were looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Birmingham-based team. In this in-person role, youll support financial accuracy and reporting, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. What Youll Do

  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Record and classify financial transactions in accordance with company policies

Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes

  • Investigate and resolve bank discrepancies and ledger variances
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and complete financial records

    • Ideal Candidate

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in-person and as part of a collaborative team
  • Adaptable, tech-savvy, and eager to learn and grow

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Bookkeeping background
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Performing credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Intercompany transactions
