We specialize in barrier-free home modifications and the installation of top-quality assistive medical devices. We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player who possesses strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of construction projects / costs, has the strong ability to close deals and manage ongoing complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Preparing comprehensive, accurate, detailed cost estimates for projects.
- Evaluating and quantifying materials, labor, equipment costs, subcontractor quotations while ensuring profit margins are met.
- Discussing proposals, requirements, and contract specifics to customers.
- Conducting site visits independently or with a team of medical professionals to gather all necessary data for a quote.
- Preparing and maintaining a directory of existing suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors and the ability to recruit new vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiating with vendors and contractors to obtain the most cost-effective bids.
- Keeping up-to-date records of all estimation documentation.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.Familiarity with medical equipment installation and handicap accessibility.Proficiency in Xactimate or a similar software.Excellent analytical skills.Outstanding negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal.Familiarity with ADA guidelines.Detail oriented and highly organized.Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to come up with creative solutions.Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.Benefits :
