Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET / CT Tech)

Location : Greenville, SC

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (05 : 30 AM – 03 : 30 PM), Monday–Thursday

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET / CT Tech) is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET / CT procedures on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The technologist will work primarily at the Patewood location from Tuesday–Friday and float to the Oconee site on Mondays.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform PET / CT imaging procedures including skull base to mid-thigh and whole-body PET scans.
  • Conduct and process studies such as bone scans, thyroid uptake scans, lung ventilation / perfusion scans, and myocardial stress tests (pharmacological and thallium).
  • Operate and maintain equipment (GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba; Siemens Biograph Horizon Scanner).
  • Start and maintain IVs and ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials.
  • Adhere to isolation and radiation safety precautions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine and EPIC charting.
  • Certifications : ARRT(N), CNMT, BLS, CT Certification, and South Carolina State License.
  • Ability to float between locations as needed.
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous charge experience.
  • Experience performing advanced scans (3 Phase, Cancer Survey, I-123 Uptake, HIDA, etc.).
