Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapist

Job Specialty : Physical Therapist

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 40 hrs / week, 10-hr shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 40

Experience : Minimum years of relevant experience required

License : Licensure as a Physical Therapist by the state board of health

Certifications : CPR certification required

Must-Have :

  • Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures
  • Familiarity with current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures
  • Understanding of rehabilitation practices
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills
  • Strong team skills including interaction, support, and respect
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems

Job Description :

  • Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment upon physician referral.
  • Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function.
  • Utilize exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, or sound in therapy.
  • Collaborate with family and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals.
  • Work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all procedures and practices.
