Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education (VPDUE), the Financial Analyst will assist with a range of Financial Analysis in support of UE unit operations, to include financial strategic budget planning for fiscal year allocations, projects, marketing and communication needs, yearly projections, professional development and travel, and the reconciliation and fiscal close of unit budgets. The Financial Analyst will work across UE to improve existing processes, procedures, and work to advance and elevate budget clarity and the strategic use of financial resources.
THIS CONTRACT POSITION ENDS ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF HIRE WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION OR CONVERSION TO CAREER DEPENDING ON FUNDING.

This position is part of 10 diverse operational / academic units in UE which are responsible for leadership in sustaining and improving the quality of undergraduate education and line responsibility for operation of 10 operational / campus wide academic units with 50 FTE and associated budgets, namely Academic Advising Enrichment, the Center for Educational Effectiveness, the Center for Leadership Learning, First Year Seminars, Quarter at Aggie Square, Summer Sessions, UC Davis Washington Center, the Undergraduate Research Center, the University Honors Program, and The Writing Center.
