The Onboarding and Training Manager oversees both employee onboarding and ongoing training within our 245D company.
This role ensures that new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization while maintaining continuous staff development and compliance with 245D regulations.
The manager will design, implement, and manage comprehensive onboarding and training programs that equip employees to perform effectively and confidently.
Collaborating closely with HR, Hiring Managers, and Designated Managers, this position plays a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience and supporting organizational success.

- https : / / jdhealthcare.net / Responsibilities Facilitate a seamless onboarding and training process for all employees within the 245D framework.
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs that ensure a smooth transition for new hires and continued development for existing staff.
- Coordinate with departments to organize orientation sessions, hands-on training, and compliance-related education.
- Provide guidance and support to employees during onboarding and throughout their employment, addressing inquiries and offering resources as needed.
- Maintain compliance with 245D training requirements by scheduling, tracking, and documenting required courses and certifications.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding and training processes; identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
- Foster a positive, engaging learning experience that reflects the company’s culture and values.
- Stay current on 245D regulations and ensure all onboarding and training practices remain compliant.
- Create, update, and maintain training and onboarding materials, resources, and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and management to support staff retention, engagement, and performance initiatives.
- Maintain and complete continuing education as required.
- Report suspected or known abuse according to company policy.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy of individuals served and staff members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Ability to pass a background check with the MN Department of Human Services.Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance.Clear driving record (no major violations or DUI / DWI convictions in the past 5 years).Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Proficiency in HRIS and / or training software preferred.Working cell phone with internet access.Ability to complete monthly training as assigned.Qualifications :
Proven experience in employee onboarding, training, or professional development — preferably within a 245D company.In-depth knowledge of 245D regulations and compliance requirements.Experience developing and delivering engaging training sessions and onboarding programs.Ability to adapt learning strategies to different employee roles and learning styles.Prior experience in direct care or community-based supported living settings is a plus.Handle With Care (HWC) and / or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred.Preferred Qualifications :
