Job Description
Responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders following physician prescriptions.
Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, conducts assessments, and documents progress in medical records.
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care, addressing psychosocial and cultural needs.
Performs specialized examinations such as swallowing assessments and coordinates patient care to meet departmental and organizational standards.
Participates in performance improvement, departmental education, and maintains competency to ensure high-quality service.
Requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, licensure in Kentucky, and preferably experience with geriatric populations.
Includes administrative duties, scheduling, and participation in infection control and safety programs. Offers full-time benefits and an 8-hour weekday schedule, with in-person work in Ironton, OH, requiring relocation.
