Overview
A healthcare facility in Detroit, MI is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to join their anesthesia care team on a locum basis. This is a supervised practice model offering a collaborative environment, modern facilities, and a wide range of surgical case exposure.
Practice Highlights
Coverage begins upon completion of credentialing
Supervision model with MDA oversight
Documentation system : Cerner
Typical surgical cases per day : 7–20 (depending on type)
Pain management cases : 0–10 per day
OR team : Surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and occasionally a first assist or resident
Patient demographics : Pediatric through geriatric (excluding neonates)
Common Case Types & Procedures
General surgery (adult & pediatric)
IV sedation for plastic surgery
Robotic surgery
ENT
Orthopedic
Podiatry
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified CRNA ( NBCRNA required )
Active Michigan medical license ( required )
ACLS & BLS (American Heart Association)
DEA & CSR (required)
Clean background and credentialing record
Schedule & Coverage
Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
3-month contract with option to extend
Estimated credentialing timeframe : 60–120 days
