The NMCI / Flank Speed End User Support Technician provides comprehensive IT support services for Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (COMNAVSURFLANT) Headquarters and subordinate shore commands. This role ensures optimal functionality, maintenance, and accountability of NMCI / Flank Speed systems, seats, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in end-user technical support, NMCI seat management, and government IT asset oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide NMCI / Flank Speed end user assistance, troubleshooting, and hands-on technical support for headquarters and subordinate command personnel.
Manage, maintain, and track NMCI seat and peripheral Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) orders, ensuring accurate records for all CNSL ashore subordinate commands.
Address technical issues impacting CNSL staff operations and readiness assessment missions, coordinating with NMCI Help Desk as necessary.
Configure and prepare laptops for remote access to support staff travel and mission readiness.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of NMCI and government-owned IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Develop and maintain project and program plans, establish milestones, and participate in program reviews, status assessments, and planning sessions.
Prepare and provide periodic NMCI Program Maintenance reports to the CIO to support annual budget reviews and funding justifications.
Provide user support for NMCI hardware and software, including Microsoft Office and other authorized applications.
Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of printers and other peripheral devices.
Qualifications :
Required DoD Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience
NMCI / Flank Speed seat and account management.
