Essential results-based duties
- Operate within the Air Lift Guiding Principles : respect, innovation, continuous improvement, integrity
- Manage Applications team to deliver world-class air suspension kits
- Enable direct reports : remove obstacles, supply resources to increase their efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead cross-department, supplier, customer collaboration and cooperation
- Organize APQP, ECR, CAR, etc. projects + tasks and delegate to team
- Empower team to take responsibility and make decisions
- Create environment of open honest communication
- Review and challenge deliverables / output to be world-class
- Develop suppliers
- Develop customers and internal partners to support product success
Position requirements
Suspension product development experience (min 5 years), including gathering customer requirements and creating comprehensive product specificationsManage contractor / supplier development programsCoordinate prototype builds and lab testing / validationDefine and manage customer integration of systemIn-field support of customer including testing and developmentProject Management experience (min 2 years) including cross-disciplined team task management using Gantt chartsGantt creation and active revision to overcome obstaclesAble to technically lead and manage multiple projectsMinimum and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum education : Bachelor's of Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringAutomotive / commercial truck systems experienceStructured product development (APQP) experience including DFMEA, DVPAble to generate detailed reports and communicate clearly using MS Office toolsTeam player : able to work on multiple projects in a dynamic work environmentSeniority level
