Provides functional and administrative support within the Materials Control function as assigned. Coordinates material requirements and delivery schedules with functional and project management; communicates status updates and change requests as required. Reviews work schedules, inventory levels, material requisitions and delivery status to ensure necessary supplies of material and supplies at supported locations when needed. Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates, according to priorities and material availability. Examines material delivered to verify conformance to specifications. Arranges transfer of materials to meet schedules. May provide guidance to less experienced personnel as assigned. Maintains accuracy of information in computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process reports, and status and location of materials. Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications (e.g. maintaining data in USG AIS) as necessary to perform assigned job functions. May be required to operate light and medium equipment, to include MHE, to perform assigned job duties. Performs duties in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, DA PAM 710-2-2, AR-735-5, CTA 50-909, PBO SOP, GCSS-Army End User's Manual, and AR 25-400-2. Other duties as assigned.
