Overview of a Loan Processor :

  • A loan processor organizes and manages the paperwork and documentation for loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness before the application is sent to an underwriter for approval. They are responsible for assembling, administering, and processing your loan application paperwork before it gets approved by the loan underwriter. A mortgage processor sets borrowers up with the proper documents for the loan program they want to use. They guide borrowers through the first step of loan processing.
