Director of Application Development

A company is looking for a Director, Applications System Development.

Key Responsibilities

Leads a technical team in application system development, production support, and testing

Plans and coordinates software development activities, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables

Develops relationships with internal teams and clients, managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years coding experience in AWS or cloud technologies, and 8+ years in a managerial role

Willingness to be on call 24 / 7 as an escalation contact

Experience in the Credit Card, Banking, or FinTech industry is preferred

Technical experience with various programming languages and cloud technologies is preferred
