Responsibilities :
Job Summary : The Adjunct Instructors responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing instruction for students enrolled in courses within the designated department at Lamar State College Orange, including multiple site location options and dual credit high school students. Adjunct Instructors must be qualified and competent to teach applicable courses within the degree and certificate programs requirements vary. Hours vary depending on the need and course schedule and may include day, evening, and / or weekend classes, including online. Flexible scheduling and online work arrangements are available (depending upon course type and configuration). Available campus locations include Orange, Lumberton, Dual Credit (at a high school), Polk County Center in Livingston, San Marcos, Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD), and online. Physical Requirements : This position requires the ability to : remain in a stationary position for most of the time; occasionally move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine. Salary :
$50 per instructional equivalent hour
