As our Industrial HVACR Solutions Account Executive, you’ll be the strategist and relationship-builder who translates complex operational needs into high-value solutions that drive client results and company growth.
A Day in the Role
Morning site visits kick off your day—walking facilities, asking sharp questions, and mapping out current HVACR and mechanical challenges. Midday, you’re collaborating with engineering and technical specialists to shape solutions and fine-tune proposals. By afternoon, you’re negotiating win-win agreements, updating your CRM pipeline, and preparing concise performance and market insight reports for leadership. Along the way, you’re nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance agreements that safeguard uptime and budgets.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Sales Execution : Build and execute territory plans to hit revenue goals and extend market reach.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting : Source opportunities through research, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach to commercial / industrial accounts.
- Consultative Needs Assessment : Conduct site assessments and deep-dive discovery to understand technical, operational, and financial priorities.
- Solution Development & Proposal : Partner with internal engineering / technical teams to design solutions; deliver precise, compelling proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Relationship Management : Grow a healthy book of business, drive client satisfaction, and promote comprehensive preventative maintenance agreements.
- Negotiation & Closing : Lead negotiations that balance client value with company profitability and guidelines.
- CRM & Reporting : Maintain clean pipeline data and account notes; provide regular sales performance and market trend updates.
- Industry Expertise : Track emerging technologies, competitive moves, and market dynamics to position Marick as the partner of choice.
Qualifications & Skills Required
3–5+ years in B2B sales with consistent quota achievement.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to build trust across stakeholder groups.Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.Self-directed, organized, and effective with time management.Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.Preferred
Background in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical services, or related technical fields.Proven success selling long-term service or preventative maintenance agreements.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.Technical fluency to interpret and explain mechanical systems, specs, and blueprints.What We Offer
