JOB DESCRIPTION

Core responsibilities include design and field work support activities, such as administrative functions like billing and payment tracking, customer service, and general office duties. The role involves tracking and assisting with compliance activities related to internal business rules, electric and gas tariffs, as well as state, local, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate and support data integrity and process adherence within the design organization.

May also assist with creating, updating, and revising sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using GIS software, and support the annual 5-year refundable agreements and reporting to the capital budget.

The candidate must be able to read and understand detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications. Assignments will be completed using information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under supervision. Familiarity with drafting techniques, engineering concepts, and terminology is required. The ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints is essential. The role includes preparing documentation to support design drawings, bills of material, schedules, and assisting engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.

Top Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Knowledge of Adobe and Bluebeam is a plus.
• Background in design, business, or accounting is beneficial.
