An Off-Campus Work-Study Position
We're looking for a confident, people-savvy go-getter who wants to learn how to sell for a cause. You'll start as the right hand to the founderlearning the ropes, mastering our message, and growing into a powerful closer. This is for someone who's not afraid to shake hands, knock on doors, and speak from the heart.
What You'll Do
Assist the founder directly in daily operations and sales activities
Learn to prospect, pitch, and closeand eventually run your own deals
Represent the brand at events, meetings, and outreach campaigns
Build and nurture relationships with donors, partners, and prospects
Knock on doors (yes, real ones) and introduce people to our mission
Negotiate deals, follow up with leads, and help convert interest into action
Collaborate with the Marketing Lead on lead generation and nurturing efforts
Bring ideas to the table, take initiative, and help us grow the mission one "yes" at a time
What You Get
You'll gain hands-on experience in nonprofit sales, learn directly from the founder, and develop skills that open doors in any industry. You'll build confidence, grow your network, and have a front-row seat to what it takes to build something that matters. This isn't a cold call center jobit's relationship-building with a purpose.
15-20 Hours Per Week
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
