Faculty Instructor / Pediatric Cardiac Surgery - UT Austin Dell Medical School

The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, in collaboration with  Dell Childrens Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT) seeks qualified candidates for a one or two year faculty instructor position in pediatric cardiac surgery . Under the direction of Dr. Charles Fraser Jr. , Dell Childrens Medical Center and Dell Medical School have launched the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease.

The selected candidate will join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team and work closely with internationally recognized physician leaders in pediatric cardiac care. The position is ideal for individuals seeking to advance their expertise in the surgical and perioperative management of children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease.

What Youll Do :

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac surgery.
• Work collaboratively within a team-based, multidisciplinary care model.
• Participate regularly in the education and training of medical students and residents.
• Engage in program development and clinical research initiatives.
